ProjectMark Application Enhancement

Introduction

This release adds new Data Hub and Files permissions, a Files section toggle for Opportunities, Projects, and Workforce, and a User Email Settings permission for login emails. It also extends Stage Guardrails to the Outlook Plugin, adds Public API support for Tasks, and fixes issues across Contacts, Opportunities, Projects, Reports, Settings, and integrations.

‍

Feature Drop

‍

  • Stage Guardrails in the Outlook Plugin — Creating an Opportunity in a non-default stage from the Outlook Plugin now triggers that stage's guardrails, so required information is collected up front.
  • Public API for Tasks — Create, read, update, and delete Tasks, work with task stages, and subscribe to task webhooks through the Public API.
  • Associate Files permission — Control who can associate Data Hub files with records. A new Settings toggle manages the permission, and the record Files tab respects it.
  • User Email Settings permission — Control who can change a team member's login email. Users without the permission can no longer edit the field.
  • Files section toggle — Turn the Files section on or off for Opportunities, Projects, and Workforce in Manage Sections. When it is off, the Files tab and the upload attachments icon are hidden.
  • Generate Opportunity ID workflow — Enterprise Workflows can now generate an Opportunity ID with an office dropdown.
  • Send Record Digest roles — Record Digests now include columns for contact, company, and workforce association roles.
  • Simulate ID preview — Simulate ID now shows the actual next available ID instead of a static format preview.
  • Workforce start dates — Workforce team members on Opportunities no longer have a lower limit on their From date.

Fix-It Release

‍

  • Contacts & Companies
    • A newly created Contact keeps its name instead of losing it after creation.
    • Bulk importing Contacts no longer clears existing emails when the Email column is not mapped.
  • Opportunities
    • The Move Opportunity shortcut on cards now applies Stage Guardrails instead of showing the old required-fields message.
    • Stage Guardrails now show role-specific messages for Companies, Contacts, and Workforce instead of a generic error.
    • The Move Field option no longer appears for fields that cannot be moved to Financial, such as Weighted Value.
    • Weighted Value now recalculates when a stage's Win Probability changes in Settings.
    • Formula fields now populate when Win Probability is in automatic, stage-driven mode.
    • Importing Project Value now updates existing Opportunities instead of creating duplicates without a stage.
    • Planning tab edits on Opportunities now save correctly.
  • Projects
    • Creating or editing a Project now saves correctly.
  • Outlook Plugin
    • Moving a stage no longer fails with a team member error when a Stage Guardrail requires a team member role.
  • Reports
    • Project Value in report exports now keeps its cents instead of rounding.
  • Settings
    • Collapsed sidebar sections stay closed as you move between Settings pages.
    • Newly activated users can now sign in with the password they just set.
  • Fields
    • Paragraph fields now scroll smoothly.
  • Activities
    • Emails sent from within ProjectMark are now always logged in Activities, whether or not Email Sync is on.
  • Tasks
    • Opening a task link from an email while signed out now takes you to the task after you log in.
  • Integrations
    • An update-only Opportunity trigger no longer creates unexpected records in Vista.
    • Procore contact names with extra spaces now split into first and last names correctly.
