ProjectMark Application Enhancement

Introduction

This release delivers a series of improvements focused on making your workflow smoother, faster, and more intuitive. The new financial field in Vista provides better visibility into project progress, while enhanced task organization, field management, and search capabilities help you work more efficiently.

We’ve also redesigned the Contacts and Companies experience with a more intuitive layout and brought these modules to mobile, ensuring a consistent and connected experience wherever you are. Together, these updates improve productivity, visibility, and overall performance across the platform.

Power-Up Release

  • Contacts & Companies Modal Restructure:
    • Redesigned the company and contact modals using multi-sections similar to the Opportunity modal.
    • Introduced new settings, relationships, and sections for both entities.
    • Added Contacts and Companies modules on mobile, ensuring a consistent experience across devices.

Feature Drop

  • Projected Percentage Complete Field (Vista Integration): Added a new finance field labeled Formula: JCJC Cost To Date / JCJC Projected Cost within the Vista integration, allowing calculation of the projected percentage completed based on cost to date.
  • Group Tasks by Category: Introduced grouping of tasks by categories created in Task Field Categories, allowing for more organized board visualization.
  • Mentions in Notes: Now detects mentions in notes within a project, improving collaboration and communication.
  • Search Inside Section Fields Modal: Added the ability to search fields inside the “Section Fields” modal for faster navigation.
  • Notifications on Opportunity to Project Conversion: Default behavior now sends an email and generates a notification to opportunity assignees when an opportunity is converted into a project.
  • Granular Address Field Selection in Reports: Users can now select specific sub-fields of Address fields in reports without removing the entire field set.

Auto-Upgrade

  • Widget Data Accuracy: Ensures all widgets now count opportunities from the opportunity board, including those imported via integration or Dromo.
  • Expanded “+” Field Details: Improved fields displaying “+1” (e.g., active opportunities or associated projects) to reveal additional information when clicked.
  • Hide Icon Consistency: The hide icon on overview fields now follows the same pattern as in the financial section, for a consistent experience.

Fix-It Release

  • Email Logging: Fixed an issue where new emails were not being logged due to a 5-minute cache delay. The same issue could also occur with manual logs.
  • Search Stability: Resolved an issue that caused Opportunities to break when users typed quickly before the search page loaded.
  • Permission Handling: Users with view opportunity permissions can now open opportunities from the list view board.
  • Custom Fields Visibility: Users can now hide new custom fields in the Financial Section of the Opportunity modal.
  • Infinite Update Loop Fix: Now checks whether updates contain actual changes before syncing, preventing redundant updates and loops in Building Connected integrations.
