Introduction
This release adds new capabilities for log event management, Outlook Smart Actions, image downloads, and report sorting, along with improvements to opportunity loading and the Vista integration, plus fixes across Contacts, Workflows, Files, and Settings.
Power-Up Release
- Outlook Plugin – Smart Actions – A new Smart Actions button is now available on the Outlook Plugin home screen. When viewing an email, clicking Smart Actions automatically creates a new Opportunity, prefills its fields using the email content, and associates related CRM records — all in one step, without leaving your inbox. Smart Actions is not enabled by default. To get access, reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
- Edit & delete your own log events – You can now edit and delete log events you created manually — calls, meetings, messages, and other activity types. Click Edit to reopen the original creation modal with data pre-filled, or Delete to remove the entry after confirmation.
Feature Drop
- Resolution selection when downloading images – When downloading images from Opportunities, Contacts, Companies, Tasks, or any other entity page, a resolution selection modal now appears before the download begins. The modal also filters out redundant options — if multiple sizes would produce the same image, only distinct resolutions are shown.
- New account activation screen – New users invited to ProjectMark now land on a dedicated Activate Your Account screen when setting up their password for the first time, with clear password requirements and a consistent design aligned with the login experience.
- Sort grouped columns in reports – Report views now support sorting within grouped columns. Previously, applying a grouping would disable column sorting. You can now sort any groupable column while grouping remains active.
Fix-It Release
- Contacts
- The Contacts list layout no longer breaks when the last email column contains long text.
- The Contacts list no longer opens with the email field automatically focused, preventing unexpected keyboard behavior on load.
- Workflows
- Subtasks created automatically through a Workflow now show the expected delete button, consistent with manually created subtasks.
- Files & Images
- A subset of JPEG and PNG images were skipping compression on upload, causing slower load times. Compression now applies consistently across all supported formats.
- Settings
- Performing a bulk project value manager (PVM) update and converting an opportunity to a project in the same session no longer clears the PVM assignment unexpectedly.
- Opportunity loading
- Opening an opportunity from list view or board view is now faster. The entire list or board no longer refreshes after closing the modal — only the updated record is reloaded, preserving scroll position and context.
- Vista integration
- Position Code / Job Title is now available as a mappable field in project records, giving teams more flexibility when syncing personnel data between Vista and ProjectMark.
