This guided flow walks you through installing the ProjectMark Data Hub plugin for Adobe InDesign. Once installed, the plugin allows you to connect InDesign directly to your ProjectMark Data Hub.
This guide focuses only on installation and access. How to use the plugin inside InDesign is covered in separate guided flows.
Before You Start (Important)
Before installing the ProjectMark InDesign plugin, make sure the following requirements are met. If any of these are missing, the installation or login process will be blocked.
Required permissions
- Your ProjectMark user must be authorized to use the InDesign plugin
- If you are not an admin, ask your ProjectMark admin to enable this permission
- If you are an admin, you can configure plugin permissions in Settings
Adobe requirements
- You must have an active Adobe InDesign license
- You must be signed in with your Adobe account during installation
Device compatibility
Are you using a Windows ARM-based device?
Adobe does not currently support extensions or plug-ins on Windows ARM-based devices. The ProjectMark InDesign plugin will not work on these systems.
After Installation
Once installed:
- The ProjectMark plugin will be available inside Adobe InDesign
- You can log in using your ProjectMark credentials
- Access depends on the permissions configured for your user
If the plugin does not appear, confirm:
- Installation completed successfully
- You are signed into the correct Adobe account
- Your device is supported
- Your ProjectMark permissions are enabled
